Joe Calzaghe began boxing at age nine. In more than 120 amateur contests, he won four school boy ABA titles, followed by three consecutive senior British ABA titles (British Championships) between 1991 and 1993. Calzaghe beat Chris Eubank to win the WBO super middle-weight title in 1997 and went on to unify the division over the following decade before finally moving up to light heavy-weight for his final two fights. Calzaghe achieve an unblemished professional career record of 46-0, 32 by TKO.
