Joe Calzaghe and his dance partner Kristina Rihanoff left Strictly Come Dancing with mixed emotions on Saturday night after losing out during the dance off to Zoe Lucker and her partner James Jordan.
Calzaghe, who performed the Jive on the night and continued to show 'improvement in his performances' according to head judge Len Goodman, was upset to be leaving the show, but still felt the overall experience was a worthwhile one and he was glad to have taken part.
Speaking shortly after his exit from the show, Calzaghe posted a message to fans on his official Twitter site: "What can I say. Gutted. I felt I was starting to get hold of my nerves and really enjoyed tonight. I wanted to thank everybody who supported and voted for Kristina and I over the last few weeks. It's been an amazing experience."
Calzaghe and Rihanoff will appear on It Takes Two on BBC Two from 6.30pm Monday night to discuss their thoughts about the show since leaving Strictly Come Dancing.
