Joe Calzaghe was delighted to have made it through the opening weekend of BBC TV's Strictly Come Dancing, but said he knows there is a long way still to go and a major improvement is needed from him to progress to the latter stages of the competition.
Speaking during a group training session earlier today, Calzaghe said: "Thank you so much to all you wonderful people who voted to keep me in the show on Saturday night. I'm humbled by your support and will be spending all my time now making trying even harder to improve my dancing so that, hopefully, your continued support won’t be wasted."
"I was very nervous when the show started and I've obviously got a lot to learn about dancing. But I'm not a quitter and I’m determined to progress on the dancefloor."
