Britain’s only undefeated boxing world champion Joe Calzaghe visits HMV’s Queen Street store in Cardiff on Thursday 22nd October 2009 to sign copies of his new DVD, ‘Undefeated’.
Calzaghe, who prior to retirement in February 2009 was the longest-reigning world champion in recent years and held the WBO super middleweight title for over ten years until he relinquished the title to concentrate on fighting at light-heavyweight, will be at the store from 5.00 pm to meet fans and sign copies of the new DVD which is released through Universal Pictures (UK).
‘Undefeated’ is an ‘access all areas’ documentary following Joe in the build up to his last ever fight in New York - Joe vs Roy Jones Jnr - at Madison Square Garden on 8th November 2008. The DVD also contains rare footage from Joe’s personal archive of amateur bouts, an exclusive retirement interview with Joe, and a montage video saluting his incredible career written by Enzo Calzaghe and sung by Enzo, Uccio and Sergio Calzaghe.
As an added bonus, disc two features the acclaimed, ‘Joe Calzaghe - My Life Story’.
