Calzaghe Promotions latest event Back 2 The Future, held at the Newport Centre on Friday 20th November, was very well attended and another important step towards the growth of its recently formed promotions business, although there was mixed success on the night for its fighters.

Tony Doherty lost to Geraint Harvey in a third round stoppage. Doherty, who was well ahead after the first two rounds, couldn't find the power to go on and beat his opponent and will now consider dropping down a weight for his next clash.

It was a better night for other Calzaghe Promotions fighters, however, with Hari Miles victorious against Nick Okoth and debutant Lee Lewis was also impressive in winning his professional debut against Mark Lewis.

Ryan Evans and Jeff Evans also enjoyed wins on the night, as did Lee Selby, Lee Churcher and Justyn Hugh.
